Western Australia’s brightest female under 18s talent have taken a 17-point win over its WAFLW opposition in WA’s state NAB AFLW All Stars match at Provident Financial Oval in Joondalup on Saturday.
Watched closely by recruiters ahead of the AFLW 2020 Draft on October 6th, this game was the last opportunity for potential draftees to shine in front of those who can make their football dreams come true.

Seven Swan Districts League players have been named to play in this Saturdays WA NAB AFLW All Stars game.
The traditional NAB AFLW Under-18 Championships have been restructured this year due to restrictions around the COVID-19 pandemic, with WA holding an interstate exhibition match in its place.

Based on performance, every week of the 2020 Optus WAFL Premiership Season saw the best players named in the Team of the Round.
Over the nine round shortened season, a total of 98 players across all clubs received this honour at least once throughout the year. Nine of those players were from Swan Districts.

The Swan Districts Football Club are working hard behind the scenes to redevelop their facilities for the benefit of the community.
Not only does Steel Blue Oval draw large numbers of people into the Town of Bassendean on Saturdays and Sundays during the WAFL season, it has become a core meeting place for non-football related activities during the week as well. Read More [+]

Almost 180 AFL Draft hopefuls will test themselves around the country after personally being invited to participate in their respective states Draft Combines.
Clubs were asked to nominate their preferred list of attendees, with male and female players from the Swan Districts Football Club making up almost a third of those invited to participate in WA’s testing on September 30th.
