Swans Community team were very active during this year’s rescheduled NAIDOC celebrations.
Painting Boomerangs (Kylies) with dreamtime story themes, teaching Marn Grook (meaning: Game Ball) and coaching, playing and umpiring a NAIDOC football match were a part of our engagement tasks.
The painting of the ‘Kylies’ was a popular activity amongst the students and some fantastic designs have been produced.

New Swan Districts WAFLW head Coach, Adam Dancey, has wasted no time in starting to build a strong, professional team around him for the 2021 women’s season.
Less than a week after being announced to the position at the 2020 McSherry Medal, he added Oliver Beath as Head of Development and Travis Jones as a Development Coach. He is also calling on applications for assistant and line-based coaching roles.

The Swan Districts have wasted no time in searching for ways to improve in 2021.
Having failed to make a finals appearance since 2017, the Swans have taken steps to rectify and fill the gaps required to see them return to being a top five team again next season.
