Swan Districts Football Club have teamed up with Sassy Ability to provide fun, friendship and entertainment for people living with challenges around Perth.

After a 2-month hiatus due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the group have once again recommenced two mornings a week at Steel Blue Oval.

Today saw the Swan Districts Football Club opened their doors to those who are struggling in the community, as part of their ‘Feed a Need’ initiative.

Every Wednesday morning from 8:30am-9:30am, anyone who is hungry around Perth is invited to Steel Blue Oval to enjoy some warm food, a drink and a place to socialise with staff, volunteers and other community members.

Premier Mark McGowan has detailed the next step of the WA roadmap out of COVID-19 restrictions, with the state moving into phase 4 from Saturday, June 27.

Roebourne High School experiences a sea of colour

This is what the students at Roebourne High School experienced last Friday as part of their in-school Colour Run.

March 2020 saw the Swan Districts Football Club prepared to open their doors to the homeless and hungry around Perth, providing them with warm food, a cool drink and a place to socialise with staff, volunteers and other community members who were doing it tough.
