Grow Your Mo’ this November and join our team
Calling all Handlebars, Pencils, Horseshoes, Chevrons and Walruses… We Need You!
Movember is saving and improving men’s lives through projects focused on prostate cancer, testicular, mental health and suicide prevention. Each November thousands of guys around the world will grow their best ‘Mo’ throughout the month of November, to help raise the awareness around the often ignored issue of men’s health.
As Movember is almost upon us and regardless of the style of moustache you prefer to rock, we want your help to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health.
Led by Director of Community & Facilities Development, Matt Hewitson, board members from the Swan Districts Football Club banded together to raise $3,085 during last year’s Movember initiative.
With a goal of raising at least $5,000 this November, there will be a lot of awful moustaches seen around Steel Blue Oval, with staff, players and coaches also joining the fight for men’s health.
To help us reach (and hopefully exceed) this goal, we are calling on all loyal Swans members and supporters to join our team. You don’t need to grow a mo to be involved, you can become a “Mo Sister” and commit to moving by running or walking 60km in November, as 60 is the number of men lost to suicide each hour, every hour across the world.
So join the Swans board, mens and women’s players, staff, coaches and other supporters to help raise funds and awareness for all the dad’s, brothers, son’s and mates in our lives, by growing or donating to this great cause using our team’s link below.
