Cyril Litterick to be inducted into the Swans Hall of Fame

Cyril Litterick will join Mike Richardson in being inducted into the Swan Districts Football Club’s Hall of Fame in 2025.

The club’s Hall of Fame was established to recognise and enshrine players, coaches, volunteers, and administrators who have made a significant contribution to the club on or off the oval since the club’s inception in 1934.

To date there have only been 44 members inducted into the Swan Districts Football Club Hall of Fame and only three have been elevated to Immortals.

Litterick played nine seasons with Swans between 1958 – 1966, notching up 179 games and kicking 235 goals.

He was a very capable second ruckman to Keith Slater and a reliable goalkicker. He had great hands and was very good at boundary throw ins.

Litterick played in all three of the club’s 1960s Premierships (1961 – 63) and represented WA in four games in 1961 and 1966.

He was the club’s Reserves Coach in 1969 after retiring as a player and was awarded Life Membership in 1980.

The remaining four Hall of Fame 2025 inductees will be announced over the next couple of months.

These will be officially recognised at the Swan Districts Hall of Fame Induction evening to be held at the club on Saturday 26th July 2025. It’s a wonderful opportunity for supporters to meet Swans royalty in person.

Tickets cost $120 and includes dinner and complimentary refreshments on arrival. Tickets can be purchased here.
