Joanne Taylor recently received Life Membership of the WA Women’s Football League. Jo, as she’s affetionately known around Swans, joins a rather small list of people presented this award over the organisation’s 25 year history.

Swan Districts marked their return to finals action on Sunday with a brave and competitive performance but ultimately the elimination final to West Perth with last kick of the day.

SWAN Districts has the chance to have all three grades taking part in the second week of the finals in 2021 should the league team mark their first finals appearance since 2017 with a win against West Perth on Sunday.

The Swans Volunteer of the Month Award for August was presented to Julie Harrison for her role as the WAFLW Team Manager.
