Swan Districts Football Club acknowledges and accepts the decision of the WAFL Tribunal Tuesday evening in relation to the matter involving Sebastian Bright.

While the Tribunal was not comfortably satisfied of the charge before it, the outcome does not alter the Club’s support for Sebastian. Throughout the process, Seb conducted himself with honesty, professionalism and integrity, and participated in both the investigation and Tribunal proceedings in good faith.

The Club recognises that this has been a difficult and highly public process for a young player. We are proud of the manner in which Seb represented himself, his teammates and Swan Districts Football Club throughout.

The Club does not view the Tribunal’s decision as a reflection on Seb’s character or integrity. He continues to have the full support of the Club.

As the matter has now concluded, the Club will make no further comment.
