Trio to celebrate 50 game milestone with Swan Districts All Abilities team

A special milestone will be celebrated this weekend when three Swan Districts Football Club All Abilities players reach 50 games for the Black and White’s.

Dylan Farrow, Joseph Maxted and Nathan Ball reach the significant achievement together this Saturday, as the team meet High Wycombe on their home turf.

For Dylan Farrow, reaching 50 games is a proud moment that reflects his loyalty and passion for Swan Districts Football Club.

“It’s a great honour to reach 50 games with one team. It shows my commitment to the black and white ducks,” Dylan said.

The journey has not always been without challenges, with Dylan overcoming injuries along the way.

“Even with small setbacks along the way with my ankle and shoulder surgery, I’ve kept going,” he said.

Over his time with the All Abilities team, Dylan has grown both as a player and as a person, crediting his teammates.

“I have become a better leader, better teammate and also learnt to mature over the years,” Dylan said.

“I have also learnt that we all achieve our goals at different levels, but I know we are all equal. I’ve grown to know I’m there for two reasons, my love for football and my teammates I’ve made over five seasons.”

Nathan Ball is also looking forward to celebrating the special milestone, with Swan Districts holding a special place for both him and his family.

“It means a lot because my family had a lot to do with Swan Districts over the 50 games, and I hope there are many more to come,” Nathan said.

Nathan believes his time with the All Abilities team has helped him develop valuable skills both on and off the field.

“It has given me the right way to ground myself and deal with problems, and how to keep myself in the right manner on the field through respect,” he said.

The 50-game milestone is a celebration not only of the players’ commitment but also of the inclusive and supportive environment created by the Swan Districts All Abilities program. The team continues to provide players with the opportunity to develop their football skills, build friendships and be part of the wider Swan Districts community.

As Dylan, Joseph and Nathan prepare to take the field against High Wycombe this Saturday, the occasion will be a chance for teammates, coaches, families and supporters to celebrate three players who have shown dedication, resilience and a genuine love for the game. Congratulations boys.
