Chad Shilling’s 50th Game

This weekend Swans celebrate another milestone game in the All Abilities team, with inaugural team member Chad Shilling running out in the Black and White for the 50th time this weekend.

The All Abilities team enters it’s fourth season in the PFL Integrated Competition, with plenty of milestone games coming up for our inaugural team members, who joined the Swans All Abilities team in 2022.

This weekend the All Abilities team host University Football Club here at Steel Blue Oval following the League game, as they play for the first time under lights in an official game since their installation in late 2025.

Chad Shilling follows Stephanie Pearson, Will Brenssell, Jackson Foskett and Ben Klaassen, who all hit their milestone games in the 2025 season.

“[It makes me feel] really happy to reach 50 games” says Chad.

“Swans makes me feel special and help me mix with people”

Chad has shown a lot of determination to reach the 50 game milestone, but it’s the enjoyment of being with his teammates that makes the journey ever so special.

“I look forward to seeing my teammates at training and at the game”.

Chad is a familiar face on Thursday night at our weekly Club Night, helping out with the Members Draw, and making connections with our members along the way.

“I am lucky to say I am a friend of Chad’s” Nessa Hodyl, wife of President Peter Hodyl.

“Chad has grown so much over the last 4 years, from a very shy young man who wouldn’t look me in the eye, now when he sees me he will come straight to me and give me a big hug and a kiss.”

Swans members and attendees this weekend are encouraged to stay back after the League game to watch as the All Abilities team look to continue their winning streak.

“For those who have not been to an All Abilities game, or have been involved in a jumper presentation or the Maurice Embley Medal, you are missing out.”

“These are incredible, joyful people who love to share their lives with everyone.”

“I am so proud that they love Swans”.

Congratulations to Chad for reaching this milestone.
