Swans Auction Goes Live!

The Swansmen Retravision club auction is now open. There’s almost 250 items on sale including electrical, restaurants, accommodation, home improvement, automotive, food and beverage, clothing and memorabilia including the Swan Districts players original changeroom lockers from the 1980s.

Mahony claims 2023 McSherry Medal

The continued rise of Ruby Mahony into one of the WAFLW's standout midfielders continued in 2023 and her outstanding season at Swan Districts was recognised by winning the McSherry Medal.

Mahony claimed the fairest and best award for the Swan Districts' WAFLW team in 2023 which was presented on Friday night with the season celebrated with the McSherry Medal night at Mandoon Estate.

Swans Mural

Swan Districts Football Club’s recent NAIDOC celebration included launching a QR code for the club’s Aboriginal mural.  

The large mural, designed and painted by local artist and proud Whadjuk-Yuet-Ballardong man Kevin Bynder, is an ancient satellite map showing the places of significance along the Derbarl Yerrigan near Steel Blue Oval Bassendean. It serves as an important cultural reference point and educational tool.

Swan Districts earned revenge on Subiaco for the loss earlier this season with Tom Edwards playing the hero with four goals in the last quarter for the two-point victory at Steel Blue Oval on Sunday.
