Swan Districts is attempting to beat South Fremantle twice in a season for the first time since 2014 on Saturday with the black-and-whites playing host to the Bulldogs at Steel Blue Oval.

The Swansmen Retravision club auction is now open. There’s almost 250 items on sale including electrical, restaurants, accommodation, home improvement, automotive, food and beverage, clothing and memorabilia including the Swan Districts players original changeroom lockers from the 1980s.

The continued rise of Ruby Mahony into one of the WAFLW's standout midfielders continued in 2023 and her outstanding season at Swan Districts was recognised by winning the McSherry Medal.

Swan Districts Football Club’s recent NAIDOC celebration included launching a QR code for the club’s Aboriginal mural.  

The large mural, designed and painted by local artist and proud Whadjuk-Yuet-Ballardong man Kevin Bynder, is an ancient satellite map showing the places of significance along the Derbarl Yerrigan near Steel Blue Oval Bassendean.
