Round 13 WAFLW Preview v East Perth

The last month of the WAFLW home and away season and the race to the finals heats up for Swan Districts up against East Perth this Sunday afternoon.
With four rounds of the 2024 WAFLW season remaining, Swan Districts come into Round 13 in fourth position with a one-game lead on the trailing Subiaco and South Fremantle, but the black-and-whites need to keep winning to stay where they are.
The chance to further consolidate fourth position presents this Sunday afternoon with Swans taking on East Perth at Leederville's Sullivan Logistics Stadium. The game begins at 2.10pm.
Swan Districts are fresh off a strong win last week by 11 points against South Fremantle which boosted their finals prospects heading into this last month of the home and away season, but they do need to keep winning to remain where they are situated.

East Perth only entered the WAFLW competition in 2023 so the two teams have met just the three times so far with Swans winning all three of those by an average of 53.3 points.
In total across those three games, Swan Districts has kicked 31 goals to just six from East Perth.
Swan Districts come into the game fresh off last week's 11-point win against South Fremantle and from that team, Adi Griffith and Courtney Zappara come into the line-up for the black-and-whites.
