Round 5, 2020 WAFLW Team Selection

The Swan Districts women’s side could potentially move to as high as third on the 2020 WAFLW ladder if they pull off a big win against newcomers, South Fremantle, this Sunday.
Having knocked off the Sharks last week, our ladies will be looking at making it a Freo-double from 1pm at Fremantle Community Bank Oval.
Heading into the final couple of home and away games of the season and with the team settling in to the on-field structures, expect to see a physical, high pressure, strong tackling black and white side this weekend.
Having been named last week before a late omission due to soreness, Ashley Sharp makes her way into the Swans forward line, looking to provide strong leadership to her younger and more experienced team mates alike.

Players to watch:
Coming up against former black duck and 2019 Grand Final best Swans player, Mim Strom, it will be an intriguing battle of the rucks. With the combination of Sarah Wielstra , Nicole Bomdardieri and Stephanie Graskoski , look for the tall Swans to rotate through the middle of the ground and up forward.
Shanae Davison and Mikayla Morrison showed they were wet weather specialists last weekend. With a 100% chance of rain on Sunday, watch how they make the slippery ball look dry throughout the game.
Chanel Jetta and Shanelle McSwain have been added to the extended bench and could possibly debut in the league side on Sunday.
