It wasn’t quite the start to the finals over the opening two weeks that all three grades at Swan Districts were hoping for, but the positive is that the colts are still alive in the preliminary final.

Swans WAFLW player and Swans Aboriginal Advisory Committee member Amber Ugle-Hayward won the 2021 West Australian Trainee of the Year Award presented at the WA Training Awards ceremony last week.

Joanne Taylor recently received Life Membership of the WA Women’s Football League. Jo, as she’s affetionately known around Swans, joins a rather small list of people presented this award over the organisation’s 25 year history.

The Swan Districts' league team might have lost in heartbreaking fashion last Sunday, but the Swans colts and reserves are both involved in semi-final action this weekend.
