Over the course of the January school holidays, players from our 2022 14s development squad attended training sessions held at Steel Blue Oval. The 8 session program had been designed to allow our talented players to continue their development journey before returning to school.

In excess of 50 players took the opportunity to train with SDFC talent coaches each morning, resulting in several players dramatically improving their fundamentals.

On Saturday 17th December was the WAFL seniors Bluff Knoll trip, which consisted of the boys arriving at Steel Blue at 9:30pm Friday night hopping onto 3 buses and making the 5+ hour journey down to the Stirling Ranges National park.

The Finals round of the 2022 WA Wheelchair Footy League was completed on Sunday 4^th December at HBF Stadium, with Swans going down in the Grand Final after working hard to qualify.
