Vale Ken Ball
The Swan Districts family lost one of its finest servants on Thursday night, when Ken Ball sadly passed away after a battle with cancer.
Ken who was also affectionately known as Buster, Bally or Beachy to his friends and family, held multiple roles at Swan Districts for over half a century and was a passionate volunteer and contributor to our club.
His extraordinary service included roles of Trainer, Team manager, Assistant Football Manager, Property Steward, Player Welfare, Player Reviews, Tribunal advocate across Colts, Reserves and League along with many other duties asked of him.
His greatest trait and one that we cherished most, was his loyalty and selflessness. He lived for the people around him and his love of life came from helping his friends, family, community and people within our club succeed and be happy in life.
He is simply irreplaceable and we will miss him greatly.
To his wife Evelyn, his daughter Linda, his boys Shane and Brad and the extended family, thankyou for sharing Ken with our football club and our thoughts are with you at this incredibly difficult time.
Rest assured we will not forgot the man he was, and the legacy he has left at this football club.
