Synthetic turf upgrades at SBO

The installation of a new synthetic turf and shock pads in front of the Bill Walker Stand has now been completed, following planning between the club, the Town of Bassendean, and WA Football.

The AFL has endorsed the project, confirming the surface will meet league standards.

It was clear after the intense wet weather of the 2025 Sullivan Logistics WAFL season that a solution needed to be implemented.

The project is jointly funded, with the Town of Bassendean, WA Football and the club contributing to complete this project ahead Round 1, this Good Friday.
