What is the U13 Development Academy?
• A skill development program for U13 players
• A chance to train in a high-quality, professional environment
• A focus on strong fundamentals, football IQ and coachability
• An introduction to the Swan Districts development pathway
• A vehicle into our U14’s program

This is not a representative team and does not guarantee future selection.

What the Academy is NOT
• Not a rep team
• Not a promise of Futures, Colts or League football
• Not a replacement for junior club football

Players will continue training and playing with their junior clubs (they’ll do one session per week with Swan Districts FC as an official member of our U13 Development Academy).

Trial Day Information
Eligibility: All 2013 boys within the Swan Districts zone
Trial Fee: $50 per player
(Includes Swan Districts FC Junior Membership  & cap, plus coaching costs)
* Kid Sport assistance accepted

Location: Steel Blue Oval, Bassendean
Timing: The trial day will take place on Friday 17 April

Trial Day Format

• Skill-based stations
• Game-based stations
• Rotational format
• Objective scoring (1–5 scale per station)
• Coaches provide brief qualitative notes

Selection & Program Overview

10 week program
$275
* Kid Sport assistance accepted

1 session per week

Focus on skill execution, decision-making, football understanding and coachability
Selection is reviewed at the conclusion of each term. There are no guarantees of Futures or Colts selection.
