Liddle, Gelmi named WAFLW co-captains for 2024

Preparations are in full swing for the WAFLW season at Swan Districts with the leadership group announced and voted upon with Demi Liddle and Eliza Gelmi appointed as co-captains for 2024.

It's a new-look Swan Districts playing group in a lot of ways for the 2024 WAFLW season including a new coaching staff headed up by Ben Bowness, and now there are new co-captains as well.

Roanna Edwards Stepping Down from Swans Board

Swans Players Nominated in the WA Italian Team Of The Century

Congratulations to the six Swans players who have been nominated in the WA Italian Team Of The Century. 

Premierships heroes, Sandover Medallists and WA Football Hall of Famers are among the nominees for the inaugural Western Australian Italian Team of the Century.

The landmark initiative, supported by all WAFL clubs and the WA Football Commission, recognises the outstanding contributions that players of Italian heritage have made to the WAFL, AFL and VFL.

Disability and Inclusion Coordinator Job Opportunities

Swan Districts Crowned 2023 Healthway Ladder LeadersĀ

Swan Districts missed out on winning a League premiership this year, but off field the club has been named at the top of the Healthway Wellbeing Ladder in 2023. 

 The West Australian Football Commission (WAFC) joined forces with Healthway to implement the Wellbeing Ladder, an initiative designed to create a competitive pathway to further implement mental health and wellbeing practices within the WAFL community.

Swan Districts add two more Victorian recruits

Swan Districts celebrates International Day of People with Disability

Paralympic athlete and Swan Districts Football Club wheelchair football player Amber Merritt gave an inspirational speech at the club’s fifth International Day of People with Disability breakfast.
