Vale Adam Hunter

Swan Districts Football Club is deeply saddened by the news of Adam Hunter’s passing.
Hunter was recruited from South Bunbury Football Club and played 65 games at Swans between 1999 and 2011 kicking 76 goals. He was also an Assistant Coach to Brian Dawson in the club’s 2010 Premiership.
Hunter was selected by West Coast Eagles in the 1999 draft with pick No 29 and played 151 AFL games kicking 86 goals between 2000 and 2009, including a Premiership in 2006.
“On behalf of the Swans family, our heartfelt condolences go to Adam’s family, friends and teammates at this very difficult time,” said club President Peter Hodyl.
Head WAFL Coach Andrew Pruyn had the privilege of playing with Hunter at Swans after he retired from the AFL.
“Adam was probably one of the most unselfish people I’ve seen.”
“He was incredibly committed and one of the most dedicated to our cause and the football club’s success, both as a player and coach”.
