Perth Volunteer Grants Program
Last week, Swans CEO Jeff Dennis and Head of Social Impact, Matt Hewitson met with the Federal Member for Perth, Patrick Gorman, to bring him up to speed on our new Integrated All-Abilities team which we will be entered into the Perth Football League (PFL) this year. Swans were recently successful in receiving a grant through the Perth Volunteer Grants program which will go towards covering volunteers costs associated with our new team.
The Swans PFL team will wear the same famous black and white stripes that both our WAFL and WAFLW sides wear and will train and play at Steel Blue Oval. While fixtures are still being finalised, there are exciting times ahead with games planned for both WAFL and WAFLW game days at Steel Blue in addition to our annual Count Me In Round.
