Swans Volunteer of the Month - July
The Swans Volunteer of the Month Award for July was presented to Kay McCarthy for her role providing morning teas and lunches for the club’s Past Players and Officials Association.
Kay’s been volunteering her time with the club over a number of years supporting the Past Players and Officials Association. Kay is helped by her daughter to make and supply sandwiches for the half time lunches often attendant by over 70 people.
The club’s Volunteer Coordinator, Nathan Clark joined the Swans PP&OA President John Rowe to present Kay with a $100 voucher to use at the Swans merchandise shop.
“Kay’s efforts are greatly appreciated by the club”, said Nathan.
Swan Districts Football Club prides itself on the large number of staff, players and volunteers helping the club build community and develop people and preserve it’s rich history.
Nathan’s role is to help recruit and induct new volunteers, organise social events and provide support to volunteers wherever needed. He can be contacted at volunteer@swandistrictsfc.com
