Street Doctor

We are really excited that for the next few months, the Street Doctor will be based at Steel Blue Oval in Bassendean on Wednesday and Fridays from 9am.

Street Doctor is a mobile GP clinic aiming to improve the health & wellbeing of homeless, transient & disadvantaged people in identified suburbs around Perth, WA.

An easily accessible, non-judgemental health service, the 360 Street Doctor works closely with other community services to engage with people that may be unwilling or unable to access traditional health services. With consistency and accessible community locations, our health professionals tailor their approach and interactions to build trust and provide reliable, safe support for people in need.

They offer all of the services you would expect from your regular GP, out of a purpose-built clinical truck:

• Common medical conditions and general health
• GP management plans and care plans
• Mental health
• Sexual health
• Immunisations
• Health assessments
• Minor cut and wound care
• Blood tests
• Pregnancy testing and support
• Specialist referrals
