Round 6, 2020 WAFL League Team Selection
Saturday afternoon will see just one team left in the 2020 Optus WAFL Premiership Season without a win to their name, as the black ducks take on Peel Thunder in front of a home crowd at Steel Blue Oval.
The Swans will be looking for their first victory against a depleted opponent, after some strong performances against top teams have been blown out late on the scoreboard.
With the Reserves side on the bye this weekend, a number of fringe players have been named on the extended bench, hoping for their opportunity to break into the team.
After a 3 goal performance in the Ressies, Tom Edwards will look at making his league debut this weekend. Jackson Beck has been named for his first game since an injury sidelined him in Round 1, while Tarir Bayok and Jak Watson will be awaiting their chance to show their value at the top level, with only a few games remaining.
Round 5’s debutants, Deven Costigan and Jacob Sideris retain their spots in the Swans forward line.
