Are you looking for a fun place to take the kids this weekend?

Then head on down to Steel Blue Oval this Saturday and sit back, relax and enjoy the live footy while we take care of all your child’s entertainment needs.

At Swan Districts, we understand that as a busy parent it can be difficult to get out the house to go and support your favourite club.

Colds seats, nothing to do and expensive food can see your child getting bored and restless at AFL games and across other WAFL venues.

But do not despair!

The Swans genuinely care about your family’s match day experience and have created a FREE Play Zone where all activities won’t cost you a thing, once you’re inside the gate.

Not only will your young ones be having fun in a safe environment, while you watch the black and whites on the field, you’ll be giving them an experience they’ll be bragging about to their friends at school all week.

You don’t need to travel to get something great to eat either. With food vans, a canteen and sausage sizzle all available inside the ground, make sure you bring a blanket or your favourite camping chair and enjoy the weather on the beautiful grassed areas surrounding the oval.

Even if you are not really a fan of footy but know your child would love it… You are definitely most welcome here too!

Some of the children’s activities include;

Laser Tag – Duck, weave and dodge your way through a variety of inflatable barricades, as you try to eliminate other players by shooting their vest sensors with a laser gun.

Bouncy Castle – The old classic that is loved by both adults and children alike, this inflatable playground will provide hours of jumping fun on the day.

Spider Mountain – Conquer this multi-levelled, 8-metre mountain of crisscrossed elastics and see what you can view from the top.

Climbing Wall – Always wanted to take the kids rock climbing but couldn’t afford it? Then give them the experience on this fun but challenging obstacle.

Bungee Tramps – Your children will have a blast showing off their flips and tricks on our bungee tramps. Designed to help them bounce higher than being on a normal trampoline, this is sure to get the adrenaline racing.

Giant Slide – The giant slide is guaranteed to help tire your kids out, as they climb to the top of this large inflatable, before whizzing back down to the bottom.

Face Painting – Butterflies, fairies, pirates, superheroes and more will be running around Steel Blue Oval, with this popular favourite.

Longest Kick Competition – During one of the breaks, your child will have the chance to walk into the centre of the oval and kick their footy as far as possible. If they do so, against other children, they’ll win a great prize.

Bin it to Win it – Ever seen your favourite AFL players kicking trick shots into bins placed around their footy club? Not only can your child participate in the same fun, they will also win $100 if they are the first to get it in the bin.

Chase the Swan – Little ones under 1m high will have the chance to chase Swan Districts mascot, Madjitil Maali, across the oval. The first person to catch him will win a fabulous prize pack.

With only 2 home games remaining, Saturday the 22^nd August and 5^th September, head on down to Steel Blue Oval this weekend and create some family memories the kids will never forget!
