The Swan Districts Football Club are turning this Sunday into a Festival of Girls Footy.
With our three black and white sides taking to the field, along with some local football clubs being given the chance to play on Steel Blue Oval, Sunday is set to be a day of fun, footy and festivities!
Games include;
9:30am - A youth game played between High Wycombe vs Upper Swan
11am – Our Rogers Cup girls will run out full of confidence, looking for their second win of the season against East Perth.
12:45pm – The Swans WAFLW Reserves will be looking to upset the currently undefeated East Fremantle side.
2:45pm – The Grand Final Rematch between our WAFLW League side and East Fremantle, with a win putting them in the top 4.
4:20pm – Junior girls games played between High Wycombe vs Hills Rangers, and Upper Swan vs Ellenbrook.
So head on down to Steel Blue Oval this Sunday, with the fun kicking off from 9:30am
Round 3, 2020 WAFLW Team Selection
You will not want to miss this Sunday’s WAFLW game between the Swan Districts and East Fremantle… as we prepare for the Grand Final Rematch!!
Including the extended bench, up to 29 faces that didn’t appear in last year’s grand final could take the field, the Swans with 15 and the Sharks with 14 respectively.
Nicole Bomardieri returns to the side to give the black and whites three handy ruck options, along with AFLW star, Ash Sharp, for her first game of the season.
After being voted as the players player last week, young gun Olivia Cripps holds her spot across half back.
Renee Holwill also stays in the team, earning her chance to start in the middle of the ground.
With both teams having young, fresh faces, expect this game to be a fast and exciting one.

Players to watch:
Being a ruck down last weekend, Sarah Wielstra was given the role to help Stephanie Graskoski against a strong Subi side, and made an instant impact in the position. With three potential rucks in the side for this weekend, watch for Sarah to make an impact up forward and through the middle of the ground.
Ash Sharp makes her way back into the side for her first game of 2020. With strong leadership abilities, watch for her to get plenty of the ball, while helping direct the young Swans all across the ground.
