VSwans Football Fun Day With Yaandeyarra Remote Community School

Our senior boys were very lucky to receive a visit from the Yaandeyarra Remote Community School. The day included both in class and oval activities focused on teamwork in football and the classroom.

There was great discussion and understanding about the importance of teamwork, and the responsibilities of being committed to a team. The VSwans Roebourne boys portrayed good hospitality and manners to their visitors.

The oval activities thoroughly challenged the boys as they were made to overcome some shyness and learn to engage with each other as team mates. All boys gave 100% in the handball and kicking activities, especially in the half oval scratch match of mixed teams.

We had an amazing morning and really look forward to the next one!!
