Telethon Continues Partnership with Swan Districts

The Swan Districts Foundation is proud to be a Telethon beneficiary again for 2025.

Partnering with Telethon allows Swan Districts to continue improving the lives of young people with a disability through successful programs such as the Elevate mentoring program and Wheelchair Sports programs.

This year, Telethon is supporting a record number of 161 beneficiaries and Swans are extremely proud to be a part of this group. All disability programs will once again be led by Disability and Inclusion Coordinator Jorja Perdija as well as our 2024 Trainees Lewis Collins and Jackson Foskett.

The team have also have a new addition in Sofia Lazzaroni, who will undertake a traineeship part time with us this year.

Last Friday Jorja and Jason Burton attended the Telethon Beneficiary Breakfast, where they had the opportunity to meet and engage other organisations doing incredible work to support sick and vulnerable young people.

The team are busily running and engaging with students in programs for a wide range of schools across Perth. Keep an eye out for new initiatives this year running throughout schools and the community that will open doors to a wide range of opportunities for young people living with living with a disability.
