Swans welcome Jovan Petric

Swans are delighted to welcome promising young key forward Jovan Petric to the club, with the 21-year-old making the move from Melbourne as he looks to take the next step in his football journey.

Petric, originally from the Western Jets in the NAB League, has built a strong reputation as a tall, athletic forward capable of taking contested marks and finishing cleanly in front of goal.

His football career performances have earned him selection for Vic Metro in the 2022 AFL Under-18 Championships, where he contributed to the team’s national title win. Petric’s efforts also saw him invited to the State Draft Combine, showcasing his athletic promise and potential at the elite level.

Having spent the past 2 season’s with Williamstown in the VFL Petric has displayed his versatility having played across all positions in his 30 appearances with the Seagulls, the 197cm product is earmarked to be a key piece of the Swans forward line in 2026.
