Swans Mega Multisport: Youth Week 2025

Swans Mega Multisport saw the Roebourne team host a round robin style multi sport event providing a hub of sports and good fun for the community to get involved with.

Our own legends Zane Trew and Tyla Fitzgerald hosted multiple super clinics throughout the day for young people aged 5 to 17 years old.

A host of organisations from across WA joined Swans for the Mega Multisport event.

Basketball WA high performance got involved in al the action, running Basketball Clinics on the courts, with Karratha Rugby League hosting rugby league on the adjacent oval.

To round out the events the Swans team hosted water volley ball and water basketball in the pool to cool the participants off.  With plenty of food and drinks to feed and keep everyone hydrated, the tunes keeping the spirits high, and community stakeholders engaging with the young people, it was to feel the positive vibes, reinforcing the importance of connection to community, and of course, how important a bit of sports can be.

Joining forces later in the week, the Swans Onslow staff and youth came to our local Roebourne staff to form a super team.

With nearly 200 young people engaged over the day, it was a great time for all involved. Swans Roebourne would like to thank our community for their support and participation from Zane and Tyla to come up, making a dynamic impact on the community.

A big thank you to Swans Onslow for joining Roebourne in the Youth Week fun, and to our sponsors and event partners and the volunteers who jumped in and helped out.
