2025 Life Member and Long Service Nominations

Swan Districts Football Club members are invited to nominate other members for Life Membership or a 10 Year Merit Award.

Swans Life Members are selected based on outstanding and meritorious service to the club. At least two club members are required for each Life Member nomination.

Nominations must be received by the Chief Executive Officer via the the club office or ceo@swandistrictsfc.com prior to 5pm on Friday the 29th August.

All Life Member nominations will be reviewed by the Swan Districts Life Members Committee which will provide a recommendation to the Swans Board for approval. The Board retains the right to not accept a nomination.

Life Membership selection criteria include:

1. A WAFL player who achieves 150 league games or a combination of a minimum 120 league games and 30 reserves games to accumulate 150 games.
2. A WAFLW player who achieves 125 league games or a combination of a minimum 100 league games and 25 reserves games to accumulate 125 games, considering the fewer WAFLW and WAWFL* games played per season compared to WAFL games.
3. A person who the Board believes has rendered outstanding or exceptional service to the club.
4. In determining outstanding or exceptional service, the following should be considered as a guide:
5. Receipt of a 10 Year Service Certificate;
6. As an active member, has provided outstanding, significant, meritorious and/ or consistent hours in the performance of voluntary service to the Club;
7. Has maintained a positive and supportive role to the Board and Club Management;
8. As a staff member, has in addition to lengthy service, provided a high standard and added value to the role
