This season’s annual past players home game is on Saturday 22nd June v East Perth starting at 2.30pm.
All past Swan Districts WAFL players, no matter what grade, will receive free entry and complimentary drinks at the Swan Bar from half time of the Reserves game to the start of the League game.
Past Players who wish to attend this must contact Mitchell Eastman, Membership & Events Coordinator on 9279 8700 or meastman@swandistrictsfc.com by Monday 17 June so ticketing can be arranged.
Also, the club will present official club caps with the players’ official club number to League players who have debuted from the 2007 WAFL season to the current year at the Pre-Game Legends Luncheon.
Every Swan Districts League player is given a player number in order of League debut – a total of 1,142 players. For example, the last player to have made their debut, Luke Taylor, is number 1,142.
Player numbers 1 – 921 previously received the opportunity to receive their official numbered cap.
The remaining players starting from Morris Coppin (No 922) who made their debut will be invited complimentary to attend the Legends Luncheon pre-game function to be formally presented their cap. Please note that eligible players must confirm attendance prior to Monday 3 June if they would like to attend the luncheon and receive their cap on the day.
Additional tickets for the luncheon can be purchased at the discounted price of $85pp and players are encouraged to invite their family and friends.
All future League debutants will be presented their cap in the changeroom prior to the game.
While we have managed to track down contact details for many past players, we rely on the Swans network to pass this information on.
