Swans Sign New WAFLW Senior Coach
Swan Districts Football Club is pleased to announce Ben Bowness as the club’s new WAFLW Senior Coach.
Bowness was a WAFLW Assistant Coach at Swans last season while also coaching Kalamunda Cougars. While coming through the club’s junior development program he went on to play in 3 Premierships and over 200 games in the Perth Football League.
“The club’s confident Ben will assist the club develop a high performing women’s football program. He knows the players and understands the club’s values, one club philosophy, and aspirations”, said Swans President Peter Hodyl.
Bowness will commence work immediately and can’t wait to start. “I am really excited to continue my time at the club, this time as Senior Coach. I look forward to bringing my style of coaching and continue adding value to an already great playing group and club. I have a passion and drive for high performance and look forward to building the team’s capacity both on and off the field while also collectively working together with our Rogers players and support teams to enhance our depth and local talent.”
