New Swans Talent Manager
Swan Districts welcomes Hayden Cobley as the club’s new Talent Manager. The role overseas all aspects of the Swans WAFL talent program and is an important conduit between the talent and senior football programs.
Cobley will pick up the baton from Greg Hardiing who was in the role for the past few seasons since stepping down from the club’s League coaching role.
Harding has been employed full time in various capacities with Swans for over 12 years and has decided to take a sojorn outside of the sport. However, he remains committed to Swans and will continue in his role on the club’s WAFL Football Affairs Committee. He’s also considering a coaching role helping Andrew Pruyn in some capacity in 2023.
Club Chief Executive Jeff Dennis is excited to have Cobley on board. “Hayden has been involved in our Development Squad programs this season and has showed tremendous enthusiasm to be a bigger part of our talent program. I’m sure he’ll build on the terrific work Greg has achieved providing opportunities for our kids”.
"I’m excited about the opportunity to work with the players and staff of the Swan Districts Football Club and build strong relationships with our football and community departments and stakeholders”, said Cobley.
“The club’s purpose around building community and developing people is something I strongly believe in and I’m extremely honoured to be given the opportunity to build on the foundations laid by Greg.”
“I’m excited by the direction of Swans and can’t wait to help our next generation and their families be part of that journey."
