Swans 2025 Gala Day

Gala Day 2025 was a massive success for the Swans District, returning to Steel Blue Oval for the second consecutive year.

Although the original date was postponed due to weather, pushing it back a week didn’t dampen the kids spirits.

In fact, the event grew even bigger, hosting 14 of the district’s Auskick centres and over 45 teams, with around 450 players taking part.

Gala Day is all about giving the next generation of footballers the chance to experience match-style play, learn more about being part of a team, and most importantly, have fun while staying active.

A huge thank you goes to all the Auskick coordinators and coaches across our district.

This day wouldn’t have been possible without the countless hours they dedicate to keeping parents informed, running their programs smoothly, and ensuring every child has good experience.

Finally, a massive thank you to the Swan Districts Football Club and staff for once again allowing us to use their facilities, playing on a WAFL oval truly enhanced the overall experience for our young Auskickers.
